What is Synchronicity Performing Arts?

Synchronicity Performing Arts is a non-professional, independent, self-funded organisation with a big vision!

Our Vision: Synchronicity Performing Arts aims to entertain, inspire and connect with the local community by producing affordable, high quality theatre and training events, that cultivate a passion for The Arts and the development of emerging talent.

Our Values: Artistic excellence - Integrity - Connection to community - Passion.

Founded in 2013, the company had its first production (The big men fly! by Alan Hopgood) in 2014 at the Capital Theatre. Since then, it has produced a further eight productions in various venues, recognised for the quality and affordability of the presentations. Often described as the friendliest company in town, the company strives to make everyone feel welcome.

In 2021 as we reemerge from the devastating effects of Covid19 lockdowns, Synchronicity is reshaping itself. Synchronicity Productions and Synchronicity Training will offer opportunities to those who wish to develop, explore or discover skills in the theatrical Arts.

Who?

Founded as the vision of Geoff and Wendy Collishaw, who longed for an independent and artistically creative company, Synchronicity is coordinated by a team of experienced artisans. Everyone on this team has an incredible breath of experience in all aspects of the Theatrical Arts.
